CONTEMPORARY
Contemporary Pirates starts a concept, to recognize and better describe those who are actively involved in the process for a life-change, independently from the size, the time or even the success of the action, but rather the human-size intentions, or the pro-positive management of the proportions between the issue, the solutions and the subjects.
It is a form of activism. It pursues pure happiness, contamination of vision, colonization of sustainability.
We are as Contemporary as are the Concurrents delivering empty cultures.
We do refer to events or conditions, often of a parallel nature, that coexist in time; proposing them honestly and in an organic way of development. which consists in promoting and updating the project as much as the participants believe in it.
Piracy is not longer just an icon, commonly represented by a white scull & bones on a black background; it represents those who are standing out in a situation considered unjust. it is a declaration of intentions for those who decide by their own capacities, abilities, possibilities, and for a change of the environment.
(s)he who chooses, awake and aware, to not gullibly apply those laws, rules and social codes generally accepted by the majority but tries to find alternative ways. (s)he does not consider him-/herself to be part of the core of this society, but rather consciously intends to form a movement that is generally perceived as revolutionary and unconforming. Hereby recognizing the loopholes present in the current system and through daily actions, steering the stream out of its main course.
we represent the luck of the lack in the culture when it comes to: non-following, non-disagreeing, non-participating, non-acting, non-changing, more-non... we sympathize with it, we seek the missing parts, hunting for examples to use to forge an alternative non-formal education,
